Call for Articles on Nasīr al-Dīn al-Tūsī
FARHANG, the IHCS quarterly magazine, is issuing the second special number in commemoration of Nasīr al-Dīn al-Tūsī, which will include articles on. Tūsī's mathematics, astronomy, philosophy, literature & politics as well as essays on editions on his manuscripts. Those wishing to contribute are kindly asked to send their articles in Persian, English, French or Arabic (app. 50 pages A4, double space), by November, 2006 to: FARHANG office. Overwhelmed by the warm reception of our three previous special numbers on Omar Khayyām we decided to issue a forth number on this series. It will include articles on Khayyām's mathematics, philosophy, poetry as well as essays on editions of his manuscripts.
